Documenting our First Married Christmas

Last week I made Tyler a deal.  I would make him a special coffee drink if he would get out of his pajamas and take Christmas pictures with me!  We tend to barter a lot.  Usually I make him something if he'll do something I want.

(Wow, this season is REALLY flying!  Next week is Christmas.  What?!  Not. Ready. to. Take. My. Decorations. Down.)

With good ole self timer, my old camera that resurrected itself from death, my bendy tripod, and a little knowledge of the program settings on my little point and shoot, I think we took some pretty good pictures together!

What's a family photo session without Maggie, our firstborn?
Maggie was a product of our second date at the state fair.  Stop your dirty thinking.
Hubba hubba hubby! ;) haha

I love this one of us!

This pretty much sums up how Tyler felt about our photography session.  He was such a good sport for me though!

And here's to documentation of our first Christmas season as an old married couple...err..newlywed couple!

Thanks so much for joining along today!

I don't typically like to just fill a post with just pictures of us and nothing useful, but hey - maybe you'll be inspired to get some documentation of your Christmas 2013 before its over!

    1. Haha, yes I'll bribe him by making special coffee drinks (something more work intensive than just regular brewed) or desserts usually. He's spoiled! ;) Thanks Zalika!

    1. Ugh! We never completely finished because the snow storm - I meant to decorate our front porch but it just never happened! Contemplated doing it today, but we'll be gone a lot during Christmas so there's really no point.

  5. Cute photos of you two together!! My husband isn't the biggest fan of getting his picture taken, either. But there's usually some way to convince them!

    1. I think he just hates (doing) it and the fact that he knows I will share them! (Strange man. haha) But of course he likes to get the special things I bribe him with, and he usually likes seeing the end results as well! :)
