Snap, Crackle Pop...Computer.

This week has been yet another week of life...and learning to live with life.

The most memorable event so far has been a bit of a tragedy.  Through a small accident which knocked a tv stand right into my computer screen, I now have only about 1/3 of a visible computer screen.  While it has been frustrating to have to accept the fact that it is not really worth it to fix my laptop (at least $90 for screen repair, probably more), it has been a good learning experience that although this was a big expense down the drain, it is not worth being frustrated at those around me.  I plan to plug it in to a small tv screen and just use my laptop as a makeshift desktop from now on...but losing my mobility will probably be frustrating until I get used to it.  Its funny how all these things wait to happen until *almost* the end of college, and right in the middle of wedding planning when I'm trying to not spend so much money.  We might be looking at Black Friday computer deals, but not sure yet if I want to fork out $300 on a new laptop.

One of the fun things about being a girl...and about being a soon-to-be-married girl, at church is the privileged of getting to hold some precious babies.  Since I was an only child, I didn't have a lot of opportunities growing up to be around a lot of babies, so I'm always afraid I'll make them cry, but I got to hold a sweet girl today who made me look forward to a) my friends having kids first so that Tyler and I can baby sit them on Friday nights every once in a while and b) to have some of my own little ones one day...a long many days away...many. haha  (And since my mom will read this, you still have plenty of time to figure out your grandma name, trust me.)

One of the most exciting things to me recently about being engaged to Tyler is figuring out what to get him for Christmas.  Its so fun to imagine all the little things I can put in his stocking.  I took him shopping today to make him point out things he likes and doesn't like so that I can get started.  :)

We haven't taken many pictures together this Fall, so today before studying I made Tyler take some pictures on campus together.  Whether they act like it or not, boys really do enjoy sweet walks together on campus together.  This is one of our pictures!  I miss taking lots of pictures with this guy, so my goal is to do that more!
