Skirtember - Week 3

Okay...I'll just admit.  I didn't do so well at Skirtember last week.  

On Tuesday I started to wear my dress in the picture, and then a crazy Oklahoma storm came through, so I changed.  I did fine on Wednesday and Thursday.  Friday, I just didn't feel like wearing a skirt.  Saturday, I just didn't feel like wearing a skirt.  Sunday, we had Children's Church with toddlers, and I wasn't going to attempt sitting on the ground with kids in a dress.  

Okay, those are my excuses!

Thursday

Shirt unknown (probably Rue21 or Forever21) and black skirt from Walgreens.
Yep, I wore that skirt last week, but it was LOST night, and so I had to wear a comfortable skirt!

Friday

Black shirt unknown, checkered skirt from Rue21, purple scarf from a shop in Grangetown, Cardiff, Wales.

Saturday

Brown shirt (unknown), brown skirt from Rue21.

Sunday

Yellow tank from Forever21, black cardigan from (I think Kohls, maybe?) and black and yellow skirt made by me!
Yes, the print is roosters and sunflowers.  I am related to my grandma.

Skirtember & Personalized Binder

Today, I'm doing a double whammy in this post.  First, I wanted to show you the page I made to put in my school binder!  I am using an old binder and wanted to be able to tell it apart from all our other binders from previous semesters that are lying around, so I made a little scrapbook page with our wedding photo and burlap.  Now if I ever leave my binder on campus, maybe they'll send it back my way!

Now onto SKIRTEMBER!  Have you heard of this yet?  It is a blog challenge to wear skirts all during September.  I caught on a little late, and on days where I don't leave the house I'm definitely not planning to participate...but I'm all down for class days and other days when I'm out doing things! 

I'm not the best on remembering to actually take the picture either...so forgive me on that!

September 4th

Skirt from Rue21, brown tank was from a local store, and cardigan was from Kohls.  I'm also "modeling" my newly put together binder decorations!

September 6th

Shirt from Stage, skirt on sale at Walgreens, shoes from Target.

September 7th (OU Stripe the Stadium Gameday) 

Normally we'd wear red to OU games, but they asked fans to stripe the stadium red and white based on section numbers.  We were in a white section, so white we wore!

Skirt was $5 at Wal-Mart (I'm not above buying things on sale at Wal-Mart), shirt from Stage, bracelet from China.

I just wanted to clarify that this is a different shirt from September 6th!  I have a lot of red shirts...

I really have had that shirt so long I have no idea where it is from.  Skirt was a sale from Walgreens a few years ago, shoes from Target.  Oh, and that skirt is just as comfortable as wearing sweats!
