Bride and Groom Shots: On Dry Ground

We really took a ton of portraits - which is great with me since we have a lot of great pictures together and a lot to choose from for albums and picture frames around the house.  But for the same reason, I'm splitting the posts on portraits into two parts...so if you missed the "Love in a Canoe" segment of portraits - go check them out!  They are our favorite group of pictures from the day!

Really loved how this filter she added captured the light in the background and brought out the brooch and dress detail.

Bride and Groom: Love in a Canoe

This is our absolute favorite bunch from the collection of wedding photos taken by Birds and Coffee Design. 

I was going to schedule this post in chronological order after showing you the ceremony and everything else...but really.  I can't save the best for last for THAT long.  So I'm bumping it up to today.  We still have a ton of great wedding stuff to share...but I just want to get these out there so you can truly love our wedding as much as we do.

Okay, you don't have to love it that much...but you can surely appreciate how much we loved the canoes!

Tyler and I are both adventurous and outdoorsy people.  When looking for wedding venues, the ponds and canoes really sold us on the lodge we chose.  We knew it was beautiful, and even better we knew we'd have fun.  And we knew we'd get great pictures.

As long as it didn't rain.  

And it didn't.
