Today, the hubster and I dressed ourselves up as cows and went to Chick-fil-a for Cow Appreciation Day where we got free dinner!
My hubby and I at chick-fil-a dressed as cows. |
Neither of us have a legitimate cow costume, so we had to improvise!
Tyler wore black dress pants and a white dress shirt. We taped cow spots cut out of black paper onto his shirt, and he printed the cow face and ears from the Chick-fil-a website.

What an adorable little cow. |
I have a black and white animal print dress - not sure what sort of animal print it is supposed to be, but it definitely worked well for my cow costume.
Then I printed off a cow face coloring page, colored it with my professional grade markers and colored pencils, glued it to cardboard and glued a dowel to the back and viola, my Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation Day costume!

Unfortunately the cashier that took our picture didn't get my "Eat Mor Chikin" sign in, but hey - we still got a good picture of our fun adventure.
When we arrived to Chick-fil-a, we were the only adults dressed up without young children (except for the Chick-fil-a employees). Tyler's costume was complete with a cow tail that we taped to his rear end. Since we wanted to make sure we got the full combo for free and not just a sandwich, Tyler made sure that the cashier saw his tail to show that he was in this for real. Tyler says and I quote, "If I'm going to look goofy, I might as well have fun!"
And fun and goofy we were. And full. Of chicken. Free chicken.
