Bathroom Sign Wedding Craft

By now, I'm sure you've all seen the ever-so-popular Pinterest wedding idea to use baby pictures (I think the original idea was to use baby pictures in the tub) to make the bathroom signs cute and personal.  If not, here you go.

The apple didn't fall far from the tree on this idea, but I think I still had my own take on things.

Somehow we didn't get official pictures of this decoration at the wedding, but luckily I took pictures of it when I made them.

Like I did for many of my wedding decorations, I started with foam board and used spray glue to put colored card stock on it.

I had baby pictures of Tyler and I printed, and mounted those on foam board.

I decorated the edge of the foam board with stringed pearls (you can buy them pretty cheap at Hobby Lobby).  I wrapped these with twine instead of pearl to bring together  the mixture of frilly and rustic that we had in our decorations.  Lastly, I wrote "Misses" and "Sirs" on the sides - just in case someone wasn't sure. ;)

I used velcro to attach the picture, thinking that I could detach it and sell the outer portion.  We did detach the pictures and give them to our parents - but I think the yellow part may have gotten thrown away as I don't remember seeing them around post-wedding.  Or they could just be lost in the other jumble of wedding stuff waiting to be gotten rid of.
